Welcome to Little Penguin Speech, a dedicated speech pathology clinic founded by Elisia Nichol, who brings 20 years of experience working with children and their families. At Little Penguin Speech, we are passionate about supporting children’s communication development to help them thrive at home, in their education, and within their community. Our approach is family-centred, ensuring that parents, caregivers and educators are actively involved in the therapeutic process. We believe that a fun and engaging environment is essential for effective learning, and we strive to create a space where your child feels valued, understood and empowered.

Elisia is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist who is deeply committed to delivering neuroaffirming, evidence-based support that celebrates each child’s strengths, communication style and individual identity. Since graduating from La Trobe University in 2004, Elisia has worked extensively with preschool-aged children in Warrnambool and across the region. Her practice is grounded in respectful, collaborative partnerships with families, educators and allied health professionals, ensuring each child is supported in a way that feels authentic, inclusive and responsive to their needs.

When not at work, Elisia enjoys spending time with her family, including her lovable Golden Retrievers — Holly and her playful new puppy, Buddy. Holidays with her family, baking, staying active, and visiting local cafés are some of her favourite ways to unwind.

Whether collaborating with families or creating joyful moments at home, Elisia brings warmth, insight and a genuine commitment to helping children flourish.
